Have a New Years?

Posted in Konnichiwa on December 31st, 2008 by admin

I’ve been wanting to update my blog for a while now. Its been really crazy these past three weeks, I don’t know how my niece found time to update her blog when we were all out doing stuff. When I do find an opportunity to update my blog, I forget what I was going to write about. And now that Mary and Simon are gone, I find myself on the computer again. I guess things are returning back to normal.

Usually I like to post something everyday, even if it is nonsense. Problem is, I forgot how I do it. I’ve lost my way of blogging. There were times on the San Francisco trip where I found myself wanting to update my blog with something funny I saw, but I forgot what it was.

After searching through the pictures on my phone, I’ve decided that I will do a picture story. I will post pictures from my phone to show what I’ve been up to these past few weeks. I will start with the latest pictures first (ascending, right?).

SamonAndShells
I ate this for lunch today at Strings. It was my first time there so I didn’t know what to order. It is Salmon and Shells’…or something like that. Pretty bland…but the bread made up for it.

MaryIgnoringPeople
This is Mary visiting her Mom and Grandma before she left. As you can see, Mary is playing her DS because she gets bored easily. By the way, we were there one minute before she popped her DS out.

Spy photos from Keothip Restaurant. I ordered their ‘Thai Spicy Chicken Salad’, I cannot express how delicious it was. Although for $10, it is a small amount but still worth it. Mary and I decided to come here since it was her “last day in Visalia”. -_-

IMAG0110
I’ve stopped taking care of the dog since Mary came down for Winter break. Even though she was ‘suppose to’ take care of PuPu I decided to check on the dog anyway. I was not surprised to see her water bowl empty.
IMAG0109
Did I every mention that I put the dog on a high protein diet? Well, I did and I also limited her food intake to two cups of dry dog food. Unfortunately, Mary doesn’t really care about this and decided to give her four cups. Grrr….>:(

‘The Mom’ has been sleeping over because her children (Simon and Mary) are back home. In this photo, she is making noodles with no broth. Ingredients: Fish Sauce, Sweetened Chili Sauce, and Capoon Noodles. This would have given me instant stomach failure.

IMAG0103
This is my niece Sirena and her messy room (my room is worse btw). Mary and her were suppose to be at a Church gathering, however being part of the Yang family, she got there 4 hours late (no exaggeration). By the way, she asked me to take this picture because her narcissistic nature demanded it.
IMAG0102
This was earlier in the day where Sirena and Mary was suppose to be. The Church gathering thing was really boring. Sorry, I had to say it. In the picture is my niece Shannon and her friend playing their instruments. I can’t even recall what song it was.

Yummm….This was a delicious bowl of Ramen I ate at Mifune Restaurant. This restaurant is in one of the malls at Japan Town San Francisco.

Mary and Sirena blocking the view. -_-

Still in the way…
 IMAG0096
It was a tall temple thingy.
 IMAG0095
Before we arrived at Japan Town, ‘The Dad’ decided to stop at a rest stop to take pictures of the Van. In the picture, you can see all the dead shrubs.
IMAG0094
I wanted to show everyone Simon’s bald spot, but I think he got a hint of what I was trying to do. o.0
 IMAG0093
Yes, there is ‘The Dad’ taking pictures of the Van. lol
IMAG0091
This picture is the morning of us getting into the van to leave to Japan Town. The night before, ‘The Dad’ told me that we would be leaving at 10AM. Well, we didn’t leave till 1PM. Getting everyone to get up was very difficult.
IMAG0090
Mary lagging… >:(

IMAG0088
This is Simon and his imaginary shot gun, no joke. o.0
IMAG0087
Simon looking up at the ceiling for spider fairies.
IMAG0086
‘The Dad’ spent a lot of money on snacks that night.
IMAG0083
Sirena realized I was telling the truth when I said she wasn’t the shortest Asian around.
IMAG0080
This was our (Brianne and Mine) basket of goodies. Mochi and Pocky…which the Dad ended up paying for because Mary tricked him. Mary’s, Simon’s and Sirena’s basket was filled with $90 of Pocky and Mochi.

I found a Christmas List on the floor so I decided to take a picture of it.

IMAG0074
We went to Cantons that night for his late birthday dinner.
IMAG0069
Shinobi Mary…trying to conceal her swollen cheeks. She had her wisdom teeth pulled. lol

So I think I posted enough pictures for tonight. I believe that this Christmas was pretty fun. With the year almost over, I feel that I have not accomplished as much as I should of. This upcoming year, I would like to go back to school. Either online classes or on Campus. Hopefully I can find a job with decent hours.

Anyway,

Happy New Years!!!

^Wow…it looks like a Captcha image. Lawlz. ^

Whoa, Merry Christmas yall.

Okay so we arrived home safely from our San Francisco trip. It was a frightening experience on the way back. Watching my niece put on AND take out her contacts while driving was very scary.

I will some random pics of stuff later. There is so many (small) things I have to do. I probably add them to my ‘to do list before new years’ list.

Okay.

A box of hurt…

Posted in Konnichiwa on December 21st, 2008 by admin

Today, I opened one of my Christmas presents early.

And it really hurt. It made me so upset that I needed a way to let it out. I know that I shouldn’t be so upset because it was a gift. Maybe I am disappointed because I expected a fair trade.

Anyway, thank you Brianne.

M.I.A. – Sorry guys.

I’ve been really busy lately. Also Simon is down!

My Touch Pro from Sprint

Posted in Konnichiwa on December 10th, 2008 by admin

Like I mentioned a while back about getting the Touch PRO, I finally got it. I have been really occupied trying to get certain things to work. So far I have GPS, Internet, and youtube application working. What I am trying to get work now is my MMS on verizon. Hopefully when I have everything complete, I will update my blog a bit more.

In the mean time…

pika PIKA!

I know this video is old, but it still is amusing. =)

Its strange how my studies of the Japanese language just died. I guess I stopped after meeting Mike (Korean language exchange partner). Or maybe the real reason I stopped was because I got busy with work. Regardless, I opened my binder filled with Kana exercises and I decided to finish a few sheets. For some reason, memorizing Hiragana was way easier than Katakana. I wonder why that is.

After putting the language bar back onto my taskbar, I realized that I really miss studying Japanese. It was fun and relaxing. Although my calligraphy really sucked, I still enjoyed skimming through my scribbles and being able to read it (slowly). One the exercises was writing sentences in Hiragana. I guess this was to practice writing as well as recognizing the characters. The practice:

I’m not to sure what it means exactly. I know that it has something to do with school and someone named Shacho. o_0
